THE STANDARD BISTRO

The interior of The Standard Bistro & Larder illustrate the designers’ take on a classic 1920s bistro.

This two-level, 9,400 SF restaurant features booth and cocktail dining on the first floor with an open kitchen and larder. The lower level has additional seating for private parties, with a classic wood panel bar as well as a catering kitchen.

Textile wall panels acoustically and visually soften the space and alternate with white tile and painted wood for a subtly textured finish in the main dining area, while olive green panels in the separate dining space creates a more intimate dining experience.

The entryway of cream paneled walls plays off against dark walnut finishes and leather detailing. Hand-painted black and white patterned tiles accentuate the open kitchen and larder on either side, leading to cozy velvet lined booths and a more secluded dining area at the back.

The entrance to the restaurant features the Synecdoche fabricated Hatch Stand, available for purchase on the Synecdoche Shop.
