In a design collaboration with Rapt Studio, Synecdoche fabricated a reception desk, bookshelf, credenza, and related signage for the San Francisco offices of General Catalyst.
Synecdoche repeated materials of steel, brass, and oak throughout the fabricated objects. The brass and oak reception desk matches the steel and brass bookshelf with rolling ladder in the lobby. An oak credenza references the reception desk in the open work space, and brass restroom signage ties the visual palette all together. Specialty brass peaks wall art was also created to match the brass finish of the furniture pieces in the bespoke collection.
